Campion Academy Outdoor Club
The outdoor club gets to take advantage of Campion Academy's proximity to the Rocky Mountains. Some of the outdoor club events highlights include:
- Annual Long's Peak Climb. This is a 14-mile round trip hike to the top of a 14'er closest to the school.
- Two Camping Trips per year
- Fall Camping Trip somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. The 2007-2008 trip was Kyte Lake where most of the students climbed 3 of Colorado's famous 14'ers.
- The second camping trip is the winter campout in February. We had awesome 12' deep drifts this year for building snow caves.
- Sunday ski trips to Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
- Sabbath afternoon mountain trips.
- Rocky Mountain Conference Winter Fest.
