Campion Academy Outdoor Club

The outdoor club gets to take advantage of Campion Academy's proximity to the Rocky Mountains. Some of the outdoor club events highlights include:

• Two Camping Trips per year
• Fall Camping Trip somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. The 2010-2011 trip was camp at Clear Creek and climb Mt. Belford and Mt. Oxford, 2 of Colorado's famous 14'ers.
• The second camping trip is the winter campout in February. We had awesome 12' deep drifts this year for building snow caves.
• Sunday ski trips to Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
• Sabbath afternoon mountain trips.
• Rocky Mountain Conference Winter Fest.
