I like to consider myself a creative person, so the chance to show off some of my work through wearing cosplay for multiple days was fun to say the least. It has been a very special experience coming to Campion and making new friends and meeting people from different backgrounds. Everybody came together seeking shelter and warmth. That time showed me how much we depend on each other. As we struggled down the mountain with snow on the path, there were people who went ahead to make the path clear. It was my first time traveling with friends, and during that trip we were able to help many people and accomplish meaningful work together. I also made so many new friends along the way. At Campion, I finally had time to slow down and enjoy life. Living with your friends just down the hall makes friends soon turn into brothers. My favorite memory at Campion was the Mission Trip to Hawaii. Not only is Hawaii a beautiful place but being there with your friends makes it even better. From working at the local Adventist schools to sleeping on the floor of the church, so many memories were made. The trip was not only a blessing to the schools we worked at but it was a blessing to me. It was an incredible opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. After I graduate, I plan on attending Southern Adventist University to major in nursing.

Meet Denisse!
I always struggled to talk to strangers and be on stage, but these last four years at Campion have changed that. I’ve come a long way since my freshman year. I joined a couple electives, like Koino and Drama, and that really helped me take a step out of my comfort zone. Additionally, I became a campus leader! Leading the dorm as an Resident Assistant allowed me to meet the wonderful girls in my hall who helped me blossom into who I am today! After Campion, I’m much more confident in myself, and most importantly, in my walk with God, which has guided me throughout my high school career. My favorite memory is this year’s Mission trip to Hawaii! Even though there were some rough moments, the fulfillment of helping others and the joy of serving people with the friends you love was an experience I will never forget. I will always be grateful for the experiences God has granted me.

Meet Daniel
Ever since I lived in Brazil, I dreamed of studying in the U.S. Although things didn’t start out the way I had hoped, especially since I barely spoke English, I truly believe this was God’s plan for my life from the very beginning. Over time, I’ve grown and matured a lot as a person. I’ve become more resilient, not just because of the challenges I faced, but also because of the people who supported me and the friends I made along the way. I have so many great memories from here, but a few stand out the most. One is playing in the final game of the Fall 2025 soccer tournament during my junior year. Even though it didn’t end the way we wanted, it was still an unforgettable experience. Another is Senior Survival, where I got to know my classmates better, grow closer to God, and even survive a hailstorm. I’m excited to start a new challenge of my life at Union Adventist University, where I’ll be studying business. I’ve really appreciated my classes and the chance to learn, especially because of the support and encouragement from my teachers. One of the most meaningful highlights of my time here was Outdoor School during my senior year. This experience stood out to me because it gave me the chance to have meaningful conversations while also enjoying time hiking in the mountains and being outdoors. Along with my growth in the classroom, I’ve also developed outside of it. As a Village student, I’ve had more independence than dorm students, which has helped me build responsibility, manage my time better, and make more decisions on my own. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. My favorite memories of Campion were definitely winning two Class Scrambles, where it pushed us to connect with our classmates and work together. It was my favorite memory not only because we got to work together but also compete with other classes. I believe that we were the best class so far. The biggest blessing I have encountered at Campion Academy is the people that I have gotten to know and grow with here. They have helped me to build a better relationship with God and have strengthened my personal values. I will always be grateful for God’s love and guidance throughout my life, because it was only through Him that I was able to overcome both my difficulties and my blessings. I plan on attending Union Adventist University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a Registered Nurse. Freshman year, I mostly kept to my small, comfortable friend group and wasn’t planning on becoming close with many of my classmates. Thankfully, that changed over time, especially thanks to Junior year, and by the end of that year I had become friends with people I never thought I would. Along the way I also grew in leadership and became more willing to step up and take on more responsibility. One of my favorite memories is from the biology trip to Moab, Utah. What started out as a normal hike turned into us losing the trail markers and discovering we were no longer on the trail at all! It was boiling hot, I definitely did not have enough sunscreen, and the situation was starting to lose its humor. God showed us the way out though and we finally made it back to the trail and saw the double arches which made the whole experience worth it.After graduation, I plan to attend Southern Adventist University to pursue a BA in Chemistry with a 6 - 12 teaching licensure, along with a math minor. The diverse role models I have had, whether it’s a staff member or another student, have deeply impacted my life, especially in my spiritual growth. All the many spiritual activities—fusion, vespers, Sabbath School, Week of Worship—have aided in helping me grow closer to Jesus. My sophomore year, we had a very powerful and inspiring Week of Worship. It led me to the decision to give my life to Jesus, and dedicate myself to him. I then went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic where I was rebaptized. The more I got to know Jesus, the more I wanted to tell others about Him. I have had the opportunity to be Student Chaplain this year and it has been the greatest honor and privilege to lead my fellow classmates to Jesus. I am planning on attending Union Adventist University in the fall and going to spend this summer studying abroad in Spain. While I am undecided on a major, I am certain that whatever I do will be to serve, inspire, and lead others to Jesus. Campion has left a lasting impact on my life and I am ever so grateful. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬

Music department connects with other student musicians on tour of Kansas

https://www.campion.net/news/music-department-connects-with-other-student-musicians-on-tour-of-kansas

https://www.campion.net/news/music-department-connects-with-other-student-musicians-on-tour-of-kansas#comments

Uncategorized

(function(jQuery) {function init() { window.wSlideshow && window.wSlideshow.render({elementID:"231281971467538270",nav:"none",navLocation:"bottom",captionLocation:"bottom",transition:"fade",autoplay:"1",speed:"5",aspectRatio:"auto",showControls:"true",randomStart:"false",images:[{"url":"5\/6\/4\/8\/56483391\/20260418-235843520-ios.jpg","width":"800","height":"533"},{"url":"5\/6\/4\/8\/56483391\/20260419-000220700-ios.jpg","width":"800","height":"533"},{"url":"5\/6\/4\/8\/56483391\/20260419-0010 [...]

The Campion Academy touring music groups, Koinonia, Bells, and Jazz Band, traveled through Kansas April 15-19 for their annual music tour this year, led by Director Naomi Fernandez.
