Campion Highlights
Christ-Centered Environment
Developing students’ faith in Jesus as our Savior is at the heart of Campion Academy. Every academic subject is presented through the lens of the Seventh-day Adventist Christian faith, and Bible classes allow students to stand firm on a foundation of Biblical truth. Students are mentored to develop Christ-like character in extracurricular activities, residence-hall life, and spiritual programming. |
Academic Achievement
Our college-preparatory educational program provides students the foundation to succeed in reaching their future goals. Our 12 dual-credit college courses allow high-achieving students to complete up to a year’s worth of college credits before graduation. Junior and Senior students can tailor their classes to meet their goals. For those that need help, teachers are available for one-on-one help in afternoon and evening study halls. |
Performing Arts
Students can strengthen and share their musical talents by joining one of our performing ensembles: orchestra, jazz band, handbells, chorale, or our select choir, Koinonia. The music department partners with our Drama class to produce a full-length musical each year. In addition, the Drama class coordinates the production of our Easter pageant, Journey to the Cross. |
Applied Art Options
Students gain hands-on and practical experience in their choice of applied arts and vocational classes including: website design, robotics, pottery, independent living, food science, digital communication, publications, and welding. |
Varsity Sports
Our athletes learn to practice good sportsmanship and positive teamwork while honing their skills on our varsity sports teams. Campion offers competitive sports for both boys and girls in soccer, basketball, and volleyball. A highlight for the sports teams is participating in Union Adventist University’s tournaments. |
Outdoor Adventures
With Colorado’s renowned Rocky Mountains in our backyard, students have opportunities to camp, backpack, summit fourteeners, ski, snowboard, and more. Each year, Campion students are taken to Rocky Mountain National Park for Outdoor School, Moab for the Biology trip, and to our local camp, Glacier View Ranch, for spiritual retreats in a stunning environment. |
Service Opportunities
Students are taught the value of service both at home and abroad through community service days, local church volunteer involvement, and annual mission trips. As students have grown in faith and developed in character, they are equipped to share the love of Jesus through service. |
Life-long Friendships
In our tight-knit community, students learn to live, work, study, and worship together. The ability to talk about deep issues of faith and life with each other creates lasting bonds. Our staff members living on campus connect with students far beyond the classroom, serving as spiritual mentors and parents away from home. Each student is assigned a faculty-family, giving them a place where they can work through challenges and celebrate milestones. |
