A Weekend Full of Fun

The first week of school at Campion is always a busy one, and this year was no exception!  On Monday, August 21, students, faculty and staff paused their various activities on campus to watch the Solar Eclipse.  Students were awed by the event and grateful to be able to see something so spectacular in their lifetime!

A week full of new classes, new schedules and soccer, volleyball and Koinonia tryouts wore students out pretty well, but they soon forgot about the tiredness as they looked forward to Class Scramble and S.A. Picnic.  Class Scramble is a favorite Saturday night activity that happens on the first weekend of every school year.  Classes go up against each other in battle as they compete in races and games with all of the random items they can find.  It is a night full of fun, chaos, and class bonding - a favorite for sure!

S.A. Picnic came on Sunday, where there were more class games and competitions, as well as a color fight and muddy tug of war.  These activities were a great way to relieve the stress of the first week of school and bond together as a school family.

Our students are fortunate to have a staff that works as hard as they do to make each event enjoyable for the students.  Thank you to all who helped out with the events over the past weekend!
