I'm dreaming of a White Christmas SA Banquet

Campion Academy’s Student Association hosted a White Christmas themed banquet last Sunday.
The event started when the gentlemen would walk over to the Girl’s dormitory and escort their date to the shuttles to travel 45 minutes to the Aloft Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado.
For the first time after Covid-19, the banquet was off campus. Senior Bella Fay reflected, “I really loved it. It was really exciting to get off campus again and experience something different than we’re used to.” 
The food was catered from a Greek restaurant. Junior Shawn Ferguson emphasized, “The food was really good this year, I really liked how they catered from a separate place rather than having our staff have to make it. I especially liked the dessert which was baklava; it was really good and the highlight of the meal.”
Various activities were scheduled at the banquet including a Christmas-themed fashion show and Bingo. Freshman Sergio Enriquez commented, “It felt like I was playing the Traditional Mexican bingo that I used to play at home called Loteria, because it used pictures instead of numbers. I also liked the fashion show because each group got to act out their own creative show.”
Along with the activities there was a photo booth where students took pictures with their friends and dates. Senior Joaquin Mendoza stated, “There was good lighting in the photo booth. The background design gave the White Christmas vibe and made the pictures look really good.”
SA worked hard to make the event a night to remember. “Banquet was a fun experience, although planning for it was very stressful,” explained SA Social Vice President Brayan Martins; “It felt good after it all came together. Banquet was relaxing and one of the happiest moments to be a part of.”
